Waking up in the morning being sick caused me to miss lots of school. I usually dont miss any. But i get to graduate this year and ill be 18 in 9 days. its weird feeling my baby move, im due April, 20th. Im so excited on Dec. 4th I get my first sonogram and hopefully know the sex. Im obviously not married. But my boyfriend plans to be there for me and the baby. So far so good. A lot of things will be changing and I'm trying to be as ready as possible.

Sickle Cell Anemia Mother
I am an expecting mother that has the sickle cell disease. I know a lot of males that have had children when their spouse don't have the sickle cell disease. I was wondering does anyone know how this disease will effect the pregnancy before, during, and after. If there is any specific questions I will need to ask the doctor.

Pregnancy & Presription Medication
I have been on 20 mgs Methadone throughtout my pregnancy. as well as many Dr's telling me this was safe, I also did research myself to confirm. But just recently my Dr. put me on 1 mg. xanax for anxiety as well as oxicodone for joint pain I've been experiencing. Though they tell me it won't have any effect on the baby, I'm still a little skeptical b/c I'm 36 weeks and the leaast it would seem that the baby would have to withdrawal from these meds. I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there that have taken this types of meds and, if any, what effect (s) did it have your baby? Should I not be worried? Thank you all for your time you take to help me out. Any advice will be of great appreciation. God Bless.

Pregnant and in Las Vegas next month?
Next month, STOTT PILATES® will be doing a special “Pilates for Pregnancy” demonstration at the IDEA World Fitness Convention at the Las Vegas convention center. The Little Seed - A new eco-friendly boutique for Chidlren
The Little Seed, a new boutique which opened in October, 2007 in LA's Larchmont Village, is a one-stop shop for everything eco-friendly in children's products.
The Little Seed was founded by three new mothers, Soleil Moon Frye, Paige Goldberg Tolmach, and Elizabeth Birkett. They opened up the shop because all three mothers had found the search for and collecting of organic products for their babies to be terribly difficult. They also found the hippie-type sites and stores they went to were lacking in cool vibes and modern styles. They opened up The Little Seed so that the world of eco-children's products would get a much needed injection of flair and modernity - 'Tree Hugging with Style'. My Niece Started School!!
My 3 year old niece, Nessy started school on Wednesday for 3 hours a day. My sister called to tell me that Nessy didn't cry and really enjoyed herself. We did ask my sister is she cried and she just laughed. I am very proud of Ness and I want to wish her luck at school.

My nephews Baptism
I attended my nephew's baptism yesterday and it was a fun filled morning. There were 8 babies being baptized and that meant a lot of noise, not so much from the babies but from the families and other children. It just amazed me the outfits that they were wearing. Of course my nephew looked so pristine in his little white short outfit. One little girl looked like a mini bride, her outfit was so detailed and big. I had to look hard to see where the little girl's face was amongst the dress. I just didn't realize what went into baptism outfits these days. My nephew wasn't too amused at having the holy water put on him but he survived. The baptism is over but my sister is still recovering today from all the work that went into the day. Take note to save up your pennies if you are getting ready to baptize your child soon and get plenty of rest for the actual day, you'll need it.

Congratulations to Jillian Reynolds
Jillian Reynolds from Good Day LA gave birth to a Baby Girl on Friday, July 6th, 2007. Jillian and her husband Grant have named their little girl Ruby Raven Reynolds. Ruby weighed 6lbs, 12oz and was 19 inches long.
Per the folks at Good Day 11, Jillian and family are doing well. Congratulation Jillian!!
