After giving birth some women don’t feel very sexy due to the extra baby fat they
are carrying, changing diapers, cleaning spit-up, and having their priorities changed
due to their newest addition. Alana shared some of her wisdom with us about how
you can feel sexy again.
To begin with you need to believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself regularly
it will become a habit. If you are feeling guilty, crabby, stopped having sex and
feel like you are in a downward spiral you need to put yourself first. When you
are happy everyone around you will feel your happiness.
So take off your sweats or muumuu and stop feeling sorry for your self. Be sexy
in something that fits, put on your favorite type of music and dance. Learn to love
your body parts as they are. Love your hips that helped you give birth to your beautiful
child, love the shape of your breasts that provide substance to your child, love
your whole body for creating and given birth to something so precious. Shift your
behavior and love yourself.
Communication is key after your have had your baby and feeling overwhelmed for having
less time for yourself and your significant other. Communicate with your husband,
family, and friends about how you feel. Be your own cheerleader.
